Whats the best t-shirt for climbing trees?

Mentioned this in the gamechanger thread but decided it was worth its own thread.

What t-shirts do you wear when climbing? I started wearing Pfanners after being gifted one a little over 12 years ago. Loved it from day one and went straight out and bought a few more and its all i've worn since...literally, those same 4 t-shirts. They don't rip like cotton t-shirts on the smallest peg or thorn, they are cooler to wear, and if you have the misfortune of being a particularly sweaty person, they literally dry off within 5 minutes at break time.

Pictured 12+ year old t-shirt

It's only had 3 new zips, 5 new collars, and 7 new sleeves

What matters is the material not what tee shirt... man made fibres, cool light and fast drying..   cotton hold onto water and take an age to dry...

just pop down to any sportswear store and pick up any old shirt that takes your fancy...

the downside to man made fibres is they soon stink up.....   so take a couple of em if your bothered by that sort of thing...

I’ve had other sports type T-shirt’s and they are of differing quality, none of which have matched up to the pfanners

How much are these pfanners?..   might be you're suffering from confirmation bias..

buy half a dozen cheapo sports shirts write Pfanners in black felt tip on em and I'll bet you'll think there as good or better than the original ones you bought for top dollar..
