So I expect this has been asked loads of times but hey ,my neighbor has a few trees that are overhanging my shed by quite a lot unfortunately we no longer get on that well can I just say to him you have to cut them back .

I think you are entitled to cut them back to the boundary .  Also I think you are obliged to offer him back the arisings but he is not obliged to accept  them . You can't just chuck them back over as that would be fly tipping .

So let me get this right they are his trees growing right over my shed and he doesn’t have to do anything about it ,that doesn’t seem right so if I have to cut them back can I give him a bill for the work
