Got a text at 5:30 saying work was off so took the dog up on the south downs snow up to my knees in places. Heard sum noise at about 1 this morning and a taxi had got its self stuck outside, should have gone and helped but was crying with laughter:laugh1: Got a works christmas drink tonight which might be interesting.

Stump grinding on a roadside bank, on a university campus in the snow today. 20mph speed limit, all chapter 8 signing conformed to, long straight road so plenty of visibility. An old woman on a knackered moped comes skidding into work area, nearly hits the guvnor, then shouts at us telling us we should be clearing the roads, not digging holes!!!!
