Thought I'd take some pics everyday I work on it. Setup a new gantry a frame jobbie which makes life easier. I'll keep posting pics as I go

Looking good it’s going to be ace when done , liking the gantry crane I could do with one of those in my yard

First time I have used it. When you get used to the heavy girder above you they are pretty handy. Did feel like if a bolt or two come out I'll be pretty wonky with that on top of me. So far so good though.

Cool, How many hours work does that represent?

Done it in a pretty bitty way. Probs 2 days, if that, carving in those pics. Always a bit slower carving a form you've never done and have only done 1 or 2 quick sketches of. Lots of walking away, looking at it over a brew. Also working from the yard- many distracting important tasks. Like waxoyling the chipper.
