i'd be prepared to look at making a stand alone site for this if people were willing to pay a nominal fee of say £30 per year for a listing. I don't think many would though, and as already said earlier on in this thread theres not exactly a huge amount of you guys. 

 

Having everyones name on this thread is fair enough, but these topics to tend to get lost a little, and are generally harder to find for the average joe public looking for a local mill.

Absolutely Steve! Yes I'd be more than happy to pay! If 1 or 2 jobs or a nice bit of timber comes up it would be well worth it!! Cheers

I was a member of the Association of Scottish Hardwood Sawmillers for years when were by Edinburgh. Some training days, sawmill visits from time to time, £100 a year with a listing on a website. Got loads of business through it. Everyone is more successful if we work cooperatively. If you're not able to do a job, you can pass it on to someone that can and vise versa.
