The crotch ripped as I did it (for the third time in as many weeks). Can't do anything with any confidence and the seamstress won't be told that a bigger patch is needed.

 

Spent the rest of the day trying to keep my balls in, a mixture of smaller crane picks, a bit of coppicing and sitting in a National Trust tea room.

A couple of years ago I rode a massive branch out of a redwood, flexing slowly and deeply against an azure sky. Cameraman botched it. A moment lost in time, like tears in rain.
