No, No, there was definately a heavenly Chorus struck up just as ah luked out da winda.

Seriously, I suffer from a peculiar vowel placement form of dyslexia,

I can recognise I have misspelled a word, but God help me, I cannot get it right,

until I google it, and voila,

tis either the use of the wrong vowel, or the misplacement of a dammed vowel.

Yet I can spot a spelling mistake in others work very easily, and good with the correct use of affect/effect, their/there, to/two/too etc etc.

Our local bastard Scots/Ulster dialect with its general larned mispronouncing of words does not help Sur!

I ain't perfect.   I and E  with me as in believe and ceiling and for some reason typing on the computer is worse than handwriting

Last night played tennis under a plastic bubble but was pelted by a heavy hail storm as I walked from the car and the ground was white over as was I.

I distinctly heard my father's voice.  " Told you son, Blackthorn Winter!"

Wouldn't say it's been particularly cold and wintry down here in Dorset since the blackthorn came out. Fairly typical for the end of March/ beginning of April. Had a few morning frosts but nothing very hard and not cold by day. Been rough at times though and we had near marble sized hail stones yesterday.

March - in like a lamb, out like a lion. That's certainly held good this year. Had to happen. We had it too good in February. Celebrating the arrival of spring that early is jumping the gun.

The Blackthorn Winter may just be a local saying for the East of England,  Norfolk/Lincolnshire/ Yorkshire
