Watched it the other day, truly incredible the strength and balls he has. Some of the things he grips on to with two fingers at a time and maybe a couple of toes is astonishing, especially at the height he was climbing. Literally no room for errors. Highly recommend!

Only read the article in Nat Geog, seriously impressive stuff.

Tells us "geographic restriction" i.e. unavailable in the UK? at least on our internet enabled TV.

We pay for the magazine, but presumably the channel is another subscription?

Absolutely fantastic. Big kahunas that’s for sure. He is at the age where drive and determination are the only thing in his mind. Fear is pretty much non existent. Or not worth thinking about [emoji51] Respect [emoji110]

I used to be mad about climbing and followed a lot of these guys pre YouTube. A lot of them die.
There was one native Indian yank freeclimbed everywhere. He died “testing “ a rope by effectively bungee jumping with it

Hands like shovels, and I dont imagine I ud fancy getting gubbed by one of them btw.

I saw somewhere that he practises 90 minute "chinups" using just two fingers!

No many old solo climbers around, all it takes is a rock to fail- or an insect to fly out of a hold-

having said that - Alex is awesome at what he does, and seems a really down to earth solid type of guy.

I was watching an interview with him just the other day, his campervan lifestyle, diet, etc. He claims he wasn't a strong climber as a kid, and says he's not talented. His ability is solely the result of dogged determination and constant training. Incredible guy.
