Next time I drop some timber off, we should sit down with a drink and I'll video it. I'll just ask a few leading questions...
What's wood then?...
Could have enough material for a few seasons.

there is a pub round the corner but you'll need a long battery life on a phone as i'll go on for hours.

These are pretty average sized logs (4000-4200 board feet in 5 logs). These are the perfect sized logs to work with as they have plenty of beautiful lumber in them , but are not so big that moving, handling, and milling them is a royal pain in the ass.

got a question pls, i have 2 lumps of spalted beech and 1 lump of cherry

i want to make a table out of them but i won't be able to make the table until a good 18 months 

i want to get them kiln dried nearer the time when i'm ready. so is it best just to leave them like this lifted off the ground until i'm ready to mill, kiln dry and make the table??? thanks
