Today's milling

Got a big oak log that's been down for about a decade, could be fun. Might be interesting. Its still rock solid. Might need a decent pressure wash and potentially a metal detector to make sure none of them nasties are hiding in it.

Max out the mill with that log 🤣You can go miles bigger than that mark as looking at those boards no wider the 500 mm ?

Hi Lez you are right but I wrote that just as I got the butt on the mill ,but the mill is vibrating a lot and since I changed the band the tension will not stay the big handle was vi rating loose  ,any ideas

Sounds like you have not torqued the blade correctly.It will vibrate like hell when cutting if the tension in not set right.

Hi on the new hm130 max theres a diagram that shows you where it needs to be but it will not stay there.
