It’s a total lottery in reality after this winters storms. Maybe on average £100-120 a ton possibly a bit more if it’s nice.

Milling lots of Sequoia at the moment (Coast Redwood not Giant).  We should plant more of this - stunning grain and dries in no time and super stable and durable.  I will be using a load myself soon so I will upload some pics as the build progresses in an appropriate thread.

Baby’s first floor: 

Alder laid but fastenings not finished yet in our new bathroom. Am screwing it to a subfloor through an acoustic mat. Not sure what to finish it with yet.

Uncovered this log in the brambles.
At the back of our site, Solid heart wood and no sign of wood worm. Milling up 4” slabs. Pretty sure it’s chestnut. Was hoping it was oak, but seems not.
