To much friction with an elastic mech tether in my opinion. Tape Sling crossed over at your back bf clipped at the front or a Chester is the best I have found

Chester.

What Size do you find is best? I have a standard - feels a bit small!

Standard here, didn’t know there were different sizes.

Couple of sites have size options of standard or large but others don't. Used the chester a couple of times now and it's actually ok - it pulls down and goes into the right place when you're using it if that makes sense. I'd guess if I had a bigger one it'd end up too low!

Sling round my back with a cross in it. Made a sling to fit with a length of climbing tape and a 'tape knot' works well. Have a tiny rock climbers karabiner to attach it.

I like that whilst it has limitations, (knotted sling and non locking karabiner) it fits perfectly and is strong enough to use as a sling and karabiner combination if 'push comes to shove')
