My 192 is getting on a bit now and im starting to worry about it letting me down.

For those who are not familiar with this saw, to put it briefly, mine gets more use than the 200!

I have also been asked by a mate where can we buy them from.

So the question is, does anyone know the best way to get hold of some??

Also another thing is, if we get them imported without going through a dealer, does the warranty still stand?

No the warranty will not stand on any imported machine. The machine has to have come from Stihl UK.

for the difference in price i can deal with having to fix it myself! paid about £160 for mine from a stihl dealer in canada when i was on holiday (apparently europeans quite often by stuff there and bring it home with them!) and bought it with a sh55 blower vac, got the two for £280 and didnt go over my baggage allowance! :)

makes a joke of the european prices really
