I once cut through with an ms46 every layer of a brand new pair of sipps type c's..i was cutting with my eyes half shut because saw dust was whipping up in the wind and in the snow only reason i let off the throttle was becasue i could feel the snow hitting my shins and could feel cold on them wich was not right let off the throttle and it had cut through every layer of kevlar and in to the inner lining i was mm from being bitten!

no saw over a m260 flat out is safe against saw trousers imo!

im sick of seeing these so called demos that mean jack **** I know that in a real life situation they work:thumbup1:

yeah from kick back and all but what about when your cutting with your eyes shut?.........sheeesh any would of thought you would have to open them!know what your saying though have had my fair share of 020 bites and mid range kick back that have not left a scratch due to saw trousers......but any saw over an ms200 flat out and not in kick back will just spit them out.

Stuffed an Oak log into the leg of an old pair of Hiflex and slammed an MS260 into it running full tilt.

Cut in about 1 1/2", which is impressively little considering you'd be unlikely to duplicate that situation in real life.

PPE rocks! I've never even nicked my keks, but two of my groundies would have been FUBAR without them.
