Trailer reversing light

I run older Ifor williams trailers finding it a pain backing them about in the dark how have people fitted lights to there's for reversing. Was thinking of just buying magnet lamp and just stick it on when needed.

I just cover the brake pedal. Seems to work

Use that trick and hazards as well but still need a bit more light.

Have done this yes..... Also you can get some decent work lamps that are re chargeable and led on small stand that can sit in trailer 

 

I had to use amber warning lights on my old transit as reverse lights didnt work lol

Wire some LED work lamps in to ya reverse light circuit, small ones will be enough, but have em on a fused switched circuit, they draw next to nowt anyhow.

Not got a spare terminal in plug so how do you get power to lights.??

This is what I use as a re chargeable... also has 2 decent magnets on the back. used iit on back of truck for unloading logs and reversing when necessary

They are what i have considered but were i live narrow roads and have to back up some times because as.h... drivers will not or the are lorries bigger then me so need something mounted have an idea if it works will let you all know.

Just fit a flick switch on the trailer that switches the fogs over to reverse lights ( blue wire) . I have done this before and fitted led reversing lights down both sides and the back of the trailer
