Decided I need a battery saw so which one do I get thinking of a ms 200 with 12 inch bar. Any thoughts before splash the cash ? I liked the fine chain on the  stihl

Having looked at the build of the big two at the APF the MSA 200 felt like a pro machine and Husky felt like a toy. Not used either so take with a pinch of salt ?

Called in on a mate this morning and his just got a MSA 200C chain looked very fine you would have to be good to sharpen it with no gauge.

Did some work for a farmer a couple of years ago he had a Still battery saw I looked the just pick it up and go, good saw to have at back of chipper to re_sned the odd bit.

I have a MS 160T and it is great for pruning/light dismantles. I have also briefly used a Stihl rear handle leccy saw for a few cuts on the ground. Impressed with that too.

Opted for the bigger battery capacity in my 160T and a spare. Surprisingly good run time in fact. Take two fully charged batteries out to work and you wont need the charger for the climbing saw in the day.

When lithium ion saws can match the 261 or 460 that will be a real game changer.
