I have a muck truck. Very handy, simple piece of kit. I've done 2 jobs with it where it  moved about 15 tons a day. The skip  is big enough for soil and I have high sides for logs and chippings.  

I'd rather have a skip loading tracked dumper but the muck truck was only £750 used, rather than £3000!

I bought a mini Dumper two weeks back 1500kgs swivel skip,tray skip and loader

There’s one of those where I store my chipper, bloody big bits of kit up close. What’s it like on the grass?

It’s light on its tracks and with care not bad on grass if you turn tight like all tracks makes a mess also depends on load fully laden weighs 2.5 tonnes
