Broke three fingers and my thumb a few years ago, the lad i was working with got some hand wash lotion out of the van put it around my finger a yanked the ring off. I'm not sure which hurt most, smashing my hand to bits or him pulling the ring off. Never worn one since.

Could have been worse, he could have put the lotion round his own finger and yanked your ring:scared1:

I'm not so sure. On the day your theory might have been the lesser of two evils...

I wouldn't be seen dead wearing a ring or other jewelry for that matter..

should be worn by women and no one else.....  men even moisturize these days, they'll be turning up in frocks next.

I stopped wearing a wedding ring after the third one went through the chipper!

Assume your talking about third ring and not third wife that went through the chipper!! ??

My mate Josh lost his finger just jumping down from his MOG . His new wedding ring got caught in something on the door/cab and it took his finger off at knuckle .

In hindsight, I should have put the first wife through, I'd have been out by now! :D

But yes rings, not wives (and I'm only on number two, I'm a slow learner)
