Richard. Love the vertical log storage! Such a simple idea that works, and with the right logs also looks good.

Next to the sculpture by Emilio Jackoff? Hadn’t noticed. Yes good idea

Resisted so far but if we had been around in the evening a bit more this last week it would have been lit as it's been 17 degrees C in our living room when I've got home from work!

 

We seem to have the stove lit most days from September until start of May. So only 4 months of the year it's not on. Bloody crazy!

One a side note, bought 50 bags of kindling today, local to me. What's the average weight of a bag if you want to sell for a fiver a piece? These are approx 3.5-4kg. Not very consistent  looking I must say, but bone dry.

Freezing , now , in Surrey ? its 18c at 8.00pm over the border here in West Sussex !
