What’s the crack here chaps?

It’s my mate’s mam’s bush (fnaar fnaar!).

Can it be sprayed?

I’m a bit of a hippy when it comes to pesticides, but he’s definitely not.

It would have be something available on the domestic market.

I realise you ment this jokingly but "we" are running out of water, if we don't get some rain soon parts of the country will be queuing at standpipes in the next few weeks, It's getting serious now. My part of the country isn't suffering as much because we get most of our water from aquifers, in other parts the reservoirs are running dry.

I've no idea Bolam. Mrs Egg sprayed fairy liquid mixed with water on something similar last year, it seemed to do the job. Hope this was useful.

Yes all in Jest Eggs.

Not had much rain up here at all.... a morning piddling down, an evening giving it what for and a little drizzle recently.....

We need the rain. Reservoirs are very low round here too. Beck through my garden is nothing but a trickle

Some sap sucking aphid, I think.

Soapy water spray/ general purpose insecticide if there's any that are bird friendly.

Just water in a kid's water pistol knocked them off my pepper plants. A pressure washer stood back just far enough to knock them off would use very little water.
