1998 262XP. I've not had it long, but it compares pretty well to my 09 357XP for a lot of stuff. There is a slight problem with it in that it sometimes overheats if it's flat out for any length of time- no idea why as yet.

Yikes! My one is ported and theres no overheating.

You sure its not running a little lean on the H?

 

Do you have a tach? if so whats the max rpms? im 13,900 but again mine has been ported. I would think you shouldnt be over 13,100 stock.

If the revs are much more than that its time for a check up.

nothing under 05 in my stable apart from a frankenstein 020 consisting of loadsa different ms200's and 020's but on a whole i have sold all my old saws imo old saws have bad anti vibes not somthing i want to use every day met to many old forresters that have problems because of this
