Jonsered part plea!!

The oil pump drive has worn out on my Jonsered 2083. I love this saw, spud rebuilt it for me but for the want of a £10 plastic part which is no longer available new even in the US I can’t run it any more unless I have a squeezy bottle of oil and oil it manually. Does anyone have a scrap one of these or the 2077 they could pinch that part off or I’d be happy to buy the whole saw as spares?

 

Maybe the other option would be to find a second hand part from the US, but I have no idea where to start!

Would a Husqvarna 385XP  pump  fit ? I know some Husky parts are the same but I also know some aren't !

No, it’s a different part no and looks the same as a 372. There is no husky equivalent to this saw, only a partner or Poulan pro, both American saws.
Starting to think I might just have to give up and maybe sell it on☹️

Ransom spare have oil pump assembly £ 95 so not cheap.

Will, you could try starting a new thread here about your problem. it's derived from the Poulan Pro 505 so you might find someone who'd be happy to mail you the part from the states, very helpful forum when it comes to saws.

I think the USA is your only hope bud . Randy  Duncan on ebay has an " Aladins Cave " of parts . Pretty sure he would have one ...
