Ive got the Salewa Crows and they are superbly comfortable. The rand is a bit soft but the comfort of the boots is so good it makes no difference to me. They have a quite a stiff sole, this is a plus or a minus depending on how you climb.

comfort ; 10/10

longevity ; unknown but im hoping for 9-12 months

Was looking at the Salewa crows. My only concern was that the heel was maybe a touch soft and low for a foot ascender, thought the strap around the heel might dig in

Done two days ago, no lasting damage, rigging error.

Not relevant to your question I know, but I had big protective boots on.

I have eschewed them in the past due to cost and comfort issues.

I am pretty sure without them I’d be in a hospital bed right now looking at a smashed foot and a long time off work.

Thanks, tiles are nice but poorly laid (in the kitchen at any rate) the wooden panels are from an 18th century blanket/sewing box I bought at auction for £170 before coming here.

Crazy to think it was made by a guy over 200 years ago.
