got a 201tcm at work which keeps stalling on idle and just not running that great.

we have put in a new plug and took it to a repair place who said it was a dirty air filter, although we have another saw which gets the same maintenance and runs fine.

i feel the next step is a new air filter.

any one experience these issue and get it sorted?

cant stand climbing saws that dont idle.

thanks carl.

thanks for all the replies, yes steve we were saying we should swap air filters to rule that out.

although i have seen air filters that are crazy blocked up and the saw has always run ok but maybe the new m tronics are more fussy.

id say we will try the fuel solinoid too , easy to do? would it be worth swapping with the working saw or better to just stick a new one on?

thanks again for the replies.
