I have just ordered a Robustrack flail head for my TB225. Not cheap but I do a lot of strimmer work so hope this will help cut out a lot of work.

i will report back on it soon.

Hello Rolf. I'm looking for a flail for our TB225. How are you getting on with yours and what size did you opt for? Cheers, Andy.

Hi all

Just got my new Robustrack 800mm mulcher fitted on my TB 225.

Perfect match and glad I did not go bigger for stability reasons.

I started of with hammer flail which to out heavy scrub and light bush up to around 40mm it performed well.

I changed over to Y flail for long grass and heavy weeded areas.

Can't fault it.

I cut these sites last year using mostly HD strimmers with blades and polycut. Took us 10 days.

Just finished them in 3 days using my new set up. Also cut much more for my customer and left mulch not blade cut long grass.

Should have bought this year's ago.

Looks fab, does the machine handle the weight okay? Are the hammers not good on grass then? Lovely diggers arn't they :)
