Either way, it's got an empty weight of 1100kg, which makes is a little impractically heavy if you don't have a 3500kg tow capacity.

Nope.
Ze zjerman description is "zweiseitenkipper" or, two sides tipper...

The limitation is the rear ground clearance.

I wonder how much weight it would save not to have the cage sides on it? I'd never be in a position to fill past the top of the dropsides as I'd be way overweight. Might save a bit of cost too.

It just doesn't seem that expensive considering a 12ft Ifor Williams tipper with the same options is nearly £5k plus VAT.

Ended up ordering a Meredith and Eyre trailer from Marston Barn Trailers. The dealer was really friendly and helpful and it ticked all the boxes. Full drop sides, headboard and tailgate, LED lights, ramps, prop stands, internal lashing points, chequer plate bed. £4100 plus VAT.

It's a heavy beast, but should hopefully withstand the abuse it's going to get.

This is what I have ended up with, and I should be collecting it at the weekend. It's a 16ft x 6ft 6" Meredith and Eyre 3500kg tri axle. Treadplate deck, LED lights, internal lashing points, kick stands and ramps. It's going to weigh a tonne, but it looks like it's built like a brick outhouse.

Looks like an ifor

looks good bigj

I know. It's daft that I've gone full circle, but the lead time was only 4 weeks and it was a bit cheaper than an Ifor too. Needed something very heavily built.
