Really great rope but would prefer it wider diameter even if it meant a heavier rope.

sorry cant answer your rope question but do you wear gloves whilst climbing? i use those ultra thin flexi black ones mechanics and trye fitters use, find they really help when assending hand over hand on srt as can be tough on the hands.

What about Samson Vortex 12.7 mm low stretch . Never tried it mind , just something i found.

...used a braided sling and set the figure of eight as a rescue device should I need it :P this is in descent mode as recommended , which I found with the NE hi vee  13mm was not working - but with Teufelberg 12mm rope was very slick and predictable .

...the recommendation is to use a sling between the harness point and the Unicender , for ascending- but I found moving about the crown , it was way out of reach ! Using a hand ascender with a foot ascender - it works well sat on the harness bridge / D point  and easily gets you up that tree !  K
