I read that as erotica and wondered what kind of fancy orgies you southerners have!

They'd make your eyes water Joe.

We have electric lighting down here and stay up long past supper time!

EDIT! Hang on a minute Mr Newton - your a bloody southerner yourself- you can't even claim to be from Derbyshire which would be a marginal call to say the least!!!!! Shame on you.

It's relative mate, the Midlands are a magical place.

Harder than the southern folk, but I can still read and write!

I’m not and I’m not having a pop. Crack on on the cheap and let’s hope nothing goes wrong.

I take on jobs I can do, so no problem things going wrong.

Well that's my bet secured for the stupidest post of the year contest.

Sorry Vesp, but you've surpassed even yourself with that one.

Seems to me like everyones missed a trick here..

Why doesnt said farmer just use the bucket on his tractor to gain access to the tree and "chop" it down himself

He's bound to have an 038 in his shed anyway..

His wee Mrs can drive the tractor..

I mean I dont take on jobs that I dont have the equipment for..   for instance I don't do monster tree's cause I don't fancy hauling tons of wood back and forth...

I pass those on to proper tree companies...  like I've pointed out dozens of times doin tree;s is more of a hobby for me..  something  different to shake up my routine..

I think they have been quite reasonable in asking if anyone local to them wants the job for less money than the quote - pity no ones offered.

I work for a farmer and before I had my tickets and gear just doing hedges and lawns remember well them shopping around when they had to have trees removed high £3k , lowest £1k. I thought there would have been helpful posts from people local to him.
