Stop go signs

We have done many roadside jobs with our own (correct) signs and without a permit as I’m sure the majority of us tree folk have. Walk in road, stop traffic and pedestrians, drop what’s needed and clear up. But when there’s high traffic flow etc it’s worth doing things right.

Sounds like this job is more trouble than its worth!

It would be ok if i could guarantee that pedestrians and motorists pay heed to what we are doing!

Thats the bit that wont save you from grief. TM man will set up then go sit in his truck with his feet on the dash and have a kip, its down to you to monitor wayward pedestrians and dopy motorists. You will still need a couple of lads on watch, we have our own traffic lights and I reckon I could write a book about Joe publics antics or lack of self preservation.

Traffic Management companies make me laugh what they quote to put signage out and sit back in van, saw some the other day all sign's were bunched up in a distance of 3 car lengths from traffic light so not a lot of warning of what is a head, and the car following me decided to over take me
