Bought the foot ascender and pretzl zigzag. 

 

This also meant i had to buy 135 ft of 11.4 non spliced rope of course and a caribenar that fits the zigzag....

 

Question is.... zigzag on right hand I'm right handed. Foot ascender on right or left foot. I'm right footed but I feel left would be better.

You don’t have to pull yourself up 40 ft, get a ladder, climb with the rope, don’t ascend the whole way hip thrusting.

God you can be a prick sometimes. I have degenerative shoulder joint, and spinal fusion and failed operation in my right hand so yeah I will be able to do it, and I would have anyway, cos there's more to me than you think

This is getting like one of those X-factor back stories where we learn about their hardships.

 

Of course you can do it, but can you make a decent job of it, in a reasonable time, on a reasonable price without breaking anything?

Forest boy, you have fancier climbing kit than me! I think you need to spend time learning how to be efficient, which comes from experience mostly. Working with other climbers is good too as you see how they do it and learn from them. Hope you are enjoying it. J.
