Edelrid are doin some good kit right now,decent harnesses and there new spikes get good reviews.

At a tenner a pop though for biners that arent triple lock,im not convinced id need em that much :|

i just use normal steel rigging ones, i prefer to have locking ones but i guess the ones in the picture are very light so good for tons on your harness.

Dmm revolvers are good but there isn’t a wide opening on them.
Don't use revolvers because it's a nylon bush inside which will melt if you run it at excessive speed down the rope and just become an expensive wire gate.

Tempted to order a few of the ones darrin posted in the op as that steel insert should make them last considerably longer without being heavy all steel.

That’s pretty much where all mine end up, as nice as it would be to have a dedicated clutch of Dmm revolvers for the job

Made in Taiwan. I was expecting a EU production .

Big weight difference compared to steel only.

I normally wouldn't bother so much but having seen the Monkey Beaver Speedline Kit .

I wanted something similar.
