Nope, they toddle off to the doctors for their daily chat about their bunions, the new mole that they have found and can they have some paracetamol for their cold.  All of which takes at least an hour hence why you can never get a doctor's appointment for at least a month.

It's their bleedin  fault that we now have to fund walk in centres which thankfully are usually placed at the top of a hill to keep the old ones out.

After that it's the post office, then the bank, then back to the supermarket to see what's been put on special offer.

Bring back Logan's run.

You know that this will come back to haunt you when you get old?

And, it's on the internet, it will be there forever :D

My wife turns up at the job (just around the corner) with a flask of tea just as 2 neighbours compete with each other over who is going to give us arb guys coffee and when.

Otherwise, coffee wise, it was a dry week.

We weren't even working for these people, they where just the audience at our council job thinning oaks.

If you aren't going to work for them again, get your money.

Had a bloke Thursday, "will it be ok to pay you by bank transfer", "of course it will, I'll wait til it's cleared". I got mugged when I first started on my own, never again.

I explicitly explain to new customers. We get paid at the end of the job, before we leave site.
Regulars get flexibility.
