NI majority vote to remain in EU - 56 v 44%

 

How about this as a thought:

 

Return the government and sovereignty of the North of IreIand to the Republic of Ireland thus allowing the majority of the North to retain their EU membership - a democratically stated preference.

 

Any possible consequential "civil unrest" would be for the ROI (and potentially the EU) to manage.  Kind of like returning the favour elements within the ROI did for UK in the past.

 

DUP cease to exert disproportionate and undemocratic influence upon mainland UK politics.
