Husqvarna 346

I've just found one for sale in a local farm machinery store for €700 inc vat.

 I understand they are a rare beast as they are 'old school' and without electronics.

Any opinions on this model?

Ace saw, prob why got 4 of them

Pretty decent saw, they have their issues but are about as good as they get. Lots can be done with them and makes them absolutely bonkers. Good AV and nice handling saw.

Couple of hundred extra will get you a 550.

Snap it up then send it off to Spud for a port job . 550 performance ( or better ) without the electrickery .

Nothing wrong with auto tune or whatever it’s called.

Or just get a dolmar!  Not sure I’d pay 700 for a saw that size
