Shame. My all time favourite tree vid.
Maybe the Chemical Brothers kicked up a fuss about using their tune.
(They should be grateful really!)

Click on link, don't press play, hit the box with the arrow pointing upwards in it at the bottom of the screen, then scroll options and select desktop site.

Should play then.

Bingo! Thanks Mark.
Doesn’t matter how many times you see that video it’s still incredible, especially when he goes up the “skinny” stem.
I’ve got a dead oak to do soon... I’ll make sure I watch that the night before. [emoji106]

The original video is a horror story, poor guy.
It's easy to watch it and say we would never do it.
Just a good reminder that there is nothing wrong with a cautious approach in this job.

nasty!...everytime people post a pic up of some shonky old dead tree...and people say 'I'd climb/rig that!', I think of situations like this. MEWPs arent exactly that expensive to hire....just put it on the job and arrive home that night in your truck...not a pine box :(

Horrible accident that one! Hope he wasn't too badly injured but I don't like his odds.

Other video is a cracker of a job though.:001_smile: I wouldn't want to do either of them.

That was an amazing watch, thanks

Yeah just watched again. It's pretty hardcore. When you see how rusty that main stem is and then see him on the little side branch. Jebus!
