Mystery meat...

Gets my vote for one of the forums more 'unusual' threads [emoji3]

What's it taste like?

The taste is pretty well covered up by the fruit, red fruits are good for disguising any rogue chunks! And before anyone asks I only had a tiny sip once, just out of curiosity [emoji13]

Has it ever crossed your mind that animals might want to eat their placenta to be rid of it to avoid rotting flesh where their young are?...

Wouldn't want to attract the attention of roaming scavengers would they, nothing to do with the value of meat available to eat...

Which brings me to your geographic location, any alligators live nearby? any lions or dangerous black bears?..

Seems to me you've fed your wife her placenta under the false assumption it might do her some good...  why I feel it won't do her any harm, at least if your gonna feed it to the poor girl, you could of married it up with some onions an fried the damned thing up..

These things have crossed my, and I do have my doubts about whether it makes any real difference, but my wife is a hippy and believes it works, so that'll do me thanks! A placebo can be a very powerful thing too - you only need to look into the clinical trials of most antidepressants to see evidence of that...

You sir have obviously never had to deal with post natal depression, believe me if it seems to work you will try it as I wouldn't wish it on any family, coupled with ptsd from wrongly being told our 2nd would be luck to make 3 years ( he's now 6 and doing well) my support lies firmly with sloth on this one.

Cheers fella, pnd is an absolute bitch, I genuinely feel blessed to have come out the other end still together with my wife still alive, and my eldest daughter ok too! And good news about your son too. I can't imagine how hearing such a thing would make me feel.

Vespasian has probably spent hours and hours researching this on YouTube, I'm sure he knows best
