First rule of domestic bliss....

 

Never, ever admit liability! It encourages dissent and civil unrest.

 

Even IF he was in some way culpable for the outcome, the full responsibility clearly lies with the girlfriend for placing him in a situation where it was necessary for him to interface with the washing appliance - as clear and unambiguous a dereliction of domestic duty as could ever be imagined.

I'm just shocked people wash their saw pants, I never have mine washed.

I give mine a good wash every year whether they need it or not.

Couldn't agree more. A well trained male of the species 'knows' that that clothes should remain where they are taken off.

 

After this, they will appear in a condition suitable for re-use - mended if necessary, washed and ironed, in a wardrobe or cupboard.

 

Failure of this protocol leads to adverse affects due to the malfunction of the cosmic alignment.
