Chipper & container problem. Help

You could look at it as the ideal "private" place to practice reversing on

mirrors.On narrow trailers it helps to make them wide enough to see(in your mirrors)using whatever comes to hand at the time.

 

Its a good life skill; show off when young & still be able to park when you're

too old and stiff to look over your shoulder.:thumbup:

Nice point about the reversing practice and being still able to do it when your old.:sneaky2:

it is a pita for sure, my mate used to keep his in one and it is a good way to wreck your chipper and back lights, you can get a run at it, wee ramps arent that easy but we found it easier pulling it in, just drive along side, pop it off the van, lift the jockey wheel in, wee drop of gravel for ramps and just go for it, he tried the small hand winch thing but it was a pest, once you get the hang of it you can manage yourself no bother, but you will need to have a few rages and swearing sessions to get it right mate.

After having two of the containers at work broken into I would be wary of storing expensive kit in them without improving the security!

 

Like others have said just reverse the chipper into the container so the wheels are over the lip and then push it from there.
