never said it was ,you asked if they bio chip , i thought youd have seen it in prices yard

I am looking for a secondhand chipper that won't break the bank to chip about 100t softwood a year for my own boiler.

 

PTO driven up to 170/180hp, up to 12" logs

 

Any ideas please?

Farmi 260 would be my first choice if I was after a pto chipper for our waste soft woods , there's usually a few decent second hand ones for sale if you check the usual places ..http://www.earborist.com/FOR_SALE_Wood_Chippers_Farmi_CH260_Wood_Chipper_13020.html

Thanks guys. Plenty of ideas now. The Farmi second hand units look like they could work financially, which Is even better!

 

Would I be better going for a bigger size up if I'm chipping mainly at the top end of its capacity or do you think with the quantity I'm doing it shouldn't be an issue.

That Sir is a question that only budget can answer. No matter what size machine you have you'll work it to its capacity and wish you had a bigger one

I've become aware of a 2012 jensen a530 with 530 hours and a 2015 gm 150 with 350 hours. Fancy going for one of them but not sure which is the better/safer buy. Both are similar money, what's people's opinions on the two?
