Husqvarna technical are my preferred but lack a boot hook and would prefer a tick guard for the summer but been wearing them in the woods the last few months and they seem good.

those husvarnas seem to be well liked. Im on arbortec at the moment for the first time. They are quite nice now they have given a little round the hips. Just waiting to see how long they last now really.

Pfanners and Steins are what I have worn for the past several years and both are good trousers

They are a brilliant trouser and if I had to do work in the trees again it would be my choice. The Pfanners do seem to be the hardest wearing though.

I got a pair of arbortec in January to replace my 3 year old pfanner, to be honest they seem very similar to hiflex and I doubt I'll get much more than a year out of them.

I wouldn't have anything other than Pfanner now, they're more expensive but outlast everything else I've tried by a long way
