What you will need:

1) a chainsaw

2) a chain, preferably new but newly sharpened will do (especially if you don't have a spare)

Method:

1) start cutting the wood (old chestnut post and rail)

2) bingo!

This is why a CAT is so named, as it was explained to me,

i.e. Cable AVOIDANCE Tool,

the 360 digger inevitably being a cable FINDING tool.

SPOT the difference!

Hahaha this summarises my week last week. Also I've been dismantling some sycs today and got them left as poles to fell tomorrow. There's nails everywhere upto about 15 ft . Wish me luck

Best solution I've found your problem is to have someone cutting and someone sharpening. ( and spare saws) You can then laugh at each other's misfortune and temper tantrums all day long:

It somehow doesn't seem so bad if one person thinks he's job is sharpen saws only and the other doesn't feel he's getting nowhere every time he hits a nail.

Yep, was thinning a lime last week with little makita 230t, not only had someone drilled it with airgun pellets, they had also driven tacks into everything up to 4/5 m. Hand to come down and sharpen 3 times, chain about dead now.groan
