poly tunnel seasoning

The doors are ajar on my polytunnel, but seldom wide open- I find the heat intensity dries the logs fine, with minimal condensation. If you don't have the time to faff around with conventional kilns, they are an excellent option, i reckon

I have one, the heat is great, but you can get condensation, I leave one half door open and punctured the top of the sides and ends making half inch square holes, had a few, this improved air flow but as in the sides and ends did not let much water in and cured the condensation. great for keeping drying logs. i cut fresh cords, store in tunnel for a year, then ready to use. there brill for storage in secure compound.

Not for me. It's at an old Nursery site. The tunnel is already there, just needs refurbing.

Absolutely perfect for drying logs. Likewise, would be a great setup.

Heat evaporates moisture, so does airflow!

 

If I had the choice, I'd have both.
