I have odd shaped feet and had Andrews for a while, very comfy, the first pair were brilliant and lasted nearly 2 years but the 2nd pair, which I bought while the old uns were re soled, weren't as good quality (lining collapsed, lower eyes were steel instead of brass amongst other things), they died after a year but the others live on f troshin about in.

So when did they add the SRT floop on the boots ? Didn’t notice it on the above photo.

Looks a good idea but don’t want to tear the arse out the boots clipping the haas on.. any one using it and hows it holding out.

I bought mine in Jan of this Year but have only worn them on a few jobs as i'm minding them! I use my Fellhunters mostly. The Andrews are a very comfortable boot and great for climbing on reductions/pruning but not too nice with spikes. I usually take a size ten but the Andrews are a smaller fit, so nine and a half for me. I'd recommend them although i can't say how long they'd last if i had them on every Day.

Got mines in march(original post) didnt really start wearing them daily till August and there holding up very well.

Warm, comfy and opposed too what some say ive no problems with em on spikes(treehogs).

Would recommend them as i think meindls have lost it,last pair(airstreams) lasted under a year, really cold in winter and no good for pruning in icy/slippery conditions.

Not as clumpy but probably the best chainsaw climbing boot in terms of movement i have tried , not as comfy on spikes for very long periods , the zermatts where great for that but are a very warm and restrictive boot in comparison.. can’t believe no one has tried the built in foot loop!
