Started back in Jan, last cut of 2016 was week between christmas and new year IIRC. If the ground is firm enough and grass isnt too wet im cutting it. Owner likes it looking as good as it can all year round. Managed to get most of the turf repair jobs done as well. I'm about 3 weeks ahead this year on all my tasks which is a first!

Greening up nicely as well.

 

Went over my own wee patches of grass a fortnight ago.

Hopefully not for another month. Once I start it's another job to keep on top of.

 

It struck me last year that planting a small patch of grass then mowing it repeatedly is a very strange that humans do. I'm not going to stop, just makes you think. :)
