I have a plain CarGo non-tipper, non-plant trailer and the build quality is excellent; the closing and pin locking mechanisms are well thought out and fit well. How well it would stand up to typical commercial arb beasting is a separate question.

I think the fact that a 400kg trailer has a carrying capacity of 2600kg speaks for itself.

Got a Cargo tipper, good trailer... pipe for tipper ram was being crushed by body going down so re routed it, and the clips that hold the ramps in are a pain in the arse! apart from that its a very good trailer.

Imo Ifor Williams trailers are seriously overated. The tippers are ok but any of the flats/plant trailers don't tow any where near aswell as either Brian James, or even better Blue Line trailers.

My Brian James tows well, and appears well finished and thought out. However, it has started cracking and has needed welding up which is disappointing (especially as it is a 3.5 tonne trailer carrying the same machine as the 2.7 tonne Ifor that has not needed any welding). There are really poor side marker lights fitted that regularly drop bulbs. The original (very expensive) jockey wheel wasn't up to the task of unhitching the laiden trailer. In its defence, the catches for the ramps are miles better than the crap that Ifor fit. I wouldn't buy another though - very expensive but not very strong unfortunately.
