FSI stump grinders

Anyone know anything about FSI stump grinders, have one or used one? On the search for a larger grinder and came across the Spectrum Plant site. Cheap n cheerful/ crap or competitively priced contender?

Funnily enough I was looking at one today. No doubt it'll grind a stump out. But it doesn't look as refined as its competitors, overly long at lots of exposed parts. Horses for courses some say.

They're certainly not cheap. Around 4k plus vat for a 13hp machine. Believe they're good machines though

Didn't think they looked overly exposed and wouldn't the longer 'neck' give you a better sweep?

We hired one (Diesel engine, 4 wheels, didn't have handlebars) and it was very good to be honest. It struggled to drive itself up losing ramps into the trailer which was a bit disappointing, but probably easily rectified (possibly incorrectly set hydraulic pressure relief valve?). If I was in the market I'd defo consider one.

We have hired them from spectrum on a few occasions. They're a good machine the tracked version performs much better than the wheeled version.
