After my 540xp crapped out, again on Monday, leaving me midway thru a job with a silky and 550 to dismantle the last tree, I had the pleasure of borrowing an ms 200t from a mate today. I know why they were discontinued, but in my opinion they've never been replaced. So much torque, great pickup, better balance, lovely noise and above all, awesome build quality. No 'designed obsolescence' with them. Please can we have em back!!

I never owned one of those.

What do you like most about it, and why was it phased-out?

Doing a quick search, it looked like a used one was for sale on Ebay for almost a $1000

We've got one of the last 020's which doesn't get used too much anymoree and a 2003 200t. Neither give any issues, unlike the 2 year old 201. 200t is still the prefered saw

200t are in the past now. Carbs messing about and not as good on vibes as the new ones.

Live in the past and be scared of new technology or move forwards and get on!

Sold all my 200t's on. 201tcm is a good saw with a few niggles... i have an older 201t yr 2012 that gave 4 years full service no bother apart from fuel tank breathers. Had the ignition and flywheel mod by dealer for free and was and is a good saw.

Good luck with the nostalgia lol
