Or failing that .410

Had a 9mm garden gun for a bit but preferred the .410

Looks like someone has commercialised my filling the runs with gas idea! Looks like a good solution. Tried it once to clear the roots out of my outside stopcock and it took over a month to grow the hairs back on my arm:blushing:

We did it with squeezy bottle filled with petrol to get the rats around a grain store once . Squirt some petrol own each hole wait a min for fumes to permeate the pop a lighted match in . There is a "" WUMP " then out they come and you can shoot as they run out .

But does anyone know the regs for using them in an urban area - but within your own garden / boundaries etc??

Are you a member of any countryside/shooting organisation you can ask?

I'm not aware of anything other than the restriction of shooting within 50 foot of a highway (that doesn't mean there aren't any other restrictions). I'd also be cautious of shot bouncing out of your property as that is an offence, and shot can bounce a fair distance. I expect it would depend greatly on how well you get on with your neighbours.

Anybody on here got/used a Crosman Ratcatcher (2250B or XL)? Toying with the idea of getting one to use around the log piles as my field rifles seem a bit overkill. :001_smile:

Is that the thing that takes a CO2 canister like a soda stream?
