Mobile log shed

Ok. The shed is mobile. I do stack.

 

When it's full a Tifor won't shift it.

 

Or have I missed the point?

 

I was trying to make it less likely to attract attention from planners. In reality it's very isolated and unlikely anyone would complain. Not intended to be moved fully laden just can be moved if some busy body complains. Not certain on all the rules but just found this Planning Permission

 

Loads of locals put up "mobile field shelters" that never get moved and no one complains.

Sorry if the reply was abrupt.

My sheds are similarly built, however I do dig the posts into the ground.

I always believed a building that wasn't concreted in could be disassembled and moved was considered temporary.

All the wood is stacked on pallets on dirt.

No complaints so far and they are all clearly visible from a road /bridleway.

Woodworks .....interesting concept of movable shed , and the planning link , however DNP are pretty strict about such things, especially if buildings are for any kind of business use , however as you say it all depends if anyone sees it or complains

Last minute job this week to make a log shed without planning and on solid granite. Got to test the mobile aspect and easily dragged it about with a Tirof winch

Yep and fitting this in around Christmas deliveries was a bit ambitious

This will be the point, change of use will trump the moveable building issue if the planners deem the fight worthwhile.

Just a point on stacking. I found by making a front and back wall and filling the middle loosely, that over time as the wood dried it pushed the walls out. I now stack in rows.
