When you push one you will leave wheeling's .

What do you mean by wheelings Paul?  I'm not well informed on pitch maintenance.  Anyone have a view on Institute of Groundsmanship?  Any good / use for the subs fee??

If you push you will be driving over the slits/holes you have just made closing some of them up straight away

You will aerate the ground then roll it with wheels down hard again because you are pushing and not towing

Bloody hell, obvious when you know what you're talking about.  A revelation to a dullard!

You could always use your MO in reverse gears on these jobs.

Been meaning to ask you Kevin, on your flail what revs do you run at for maximum efficiency,

Varies according to the materiel that's being cut Mick, I've done some thick gorse on hi-flow, and mid revs (can't remember what level but will be out again with it soon I suspect). Less revs and not on high flow for long grass.  Sorry not too specific but it's been a while since I've had it running and I can't remember :$
